Reports on the 2010 VALBEC year will be presented and the new Executive committee will be elected.

A. Reports (Presidents, Conference, Professional Development, ACAL, Treasurer)

B. Election of new office bearers.

C. Confirmation of Auditor

The VALBEC committee is a dynamic and collaborative group who meet once a month to discuss, plan and take action on behalf of members and the ALBE field.

4. 'Sharing Good Practice'

Friday May 20, 2011 at the William Angliss Conference Centre, Melbourne.

Registrations close on 13 May.

Program streams will run concurrently with morning and afternoon sessions of 90 minutes duration.

- Innovative approaches to teaching and learning in pre-accredited and accredited education and training.

- Numeracy teaching and learning strategies and resources

- ACSF / CGEA mapping, models and moderation

Deadline June 24, 2011

In this edition we will solicit contributions from teachers, students, theorists, policy makers and researchers. We want to reflect on the challenges and successes of the field, with a cross section of articles which will, we hope, celebrate the place of Numeracy in our field.
